Jose had a sensational debut for the Long Island Academy, scoring two goals and registering three assists in the 8-0 defeat of the Morristown Colonials on May 18, and was named the BigAppleSoccer.com Player of the Week. He went on to score eight goals and provide nine assists during the Academy's 11 games.

The 21-year-old Rego Park resident won four State Cups as a youth player with B/W Gottschee. It was then on to Molloy College, the Brooklyn Knights and the Long Island Rough Riders. Jose has also worn the red, white and blue of the United States Under-18 National Team.
