Midfielder Adam Bruh
The 22-year-old spent his entire youth soccer career playing for one team, the
Albertson Animals of the Long Island Junior Soccer League, coached by Paul Riley, the Long Island Academy's head coach.
At Wheatley High School, the East Williston resident was named two-time Nassau County Player of the Year and two-time All-State along with being selected to the McDonald's All-American team.
It was then on to the nationally-ranked University of Michigan, where he was named a Freshman All-American and All-Big Ten.
"Adam has terrific vision, great touch and the ability to play the million dollar ball. His range of passing is top-notch as he is a bonified playmaker," commented Academy coach Paul Riley. "We have high expectations for Adam, who has been a player of mine for 12 years."
