![]() Midfielder Adam Bruh Adam scored two goals and had three assists in 2007, leading the Academy to a 5-3-3 record as an expansion franchise. The 23-year-old spent his entire youth soccer career playing for one team, the Albertson Animals of the Long Island Junior Soccer League. At Wheatley High School, the East Williston resident was named two-time Nassau County Player of the Year and two-time All-State along with being selected to the McDonald's All-American team. It was then on to the nationally-ranked University of Michigan, where he was named a Freshman All-American and All-Big Ten. "Adam has terrific vision, great touch and the ability to play the million dollar ball. His range of passing is fantastic as he is a bonified playmaker," commented Academy coach Adrian Gaitan.
