For/Def/GK Chad Calderone

The versatile 27-year-old from Rockville Centre can play goalkeeper, defender and forward.

Calderone grew up playing youth soccer for Rockville Centre, Albertson and East Fishkill. His best moment ever on a soccer field was winning the Long Island championship with Kellenberg High School in 1998 and being named All-State and All-Region.

It was on to Colgate University, where he was Patriot League Rookie of the Year in 1999, then he finished his college career with Old Dominion.

Calderone has also trained professionally recently with AC Colorno in northern Italy.
