Shaun scored two goals and had one assist last year in leading the Academy to a 5-3-3 record in 2007 and provided three goals and two assists to lead the side to a 8-1-2 record in 2008.

The Queens resident grew up playing for the Long Island Junior Soccer League clubs in Bayside, East Meadow and Dix Hills. A highlight of his soccer career was being the two-year captain of the Hofstra University men's soccer team under coach Rich Nutall.

"Shaun is a terrific striker with loads of speed, skill and ability," commented Long Island Academy head coach Adrian Gaitan. "He has a nose for the goal and we have tremendous expectations for him. He is also a valuable, positive locker room personality which will help with our second-year team."
