Defender Cesar Lopez

A 24-year-old Brentwood resident, Lopez has a good deal of experience as he has played for the Empire State Team, the Long Island Rough Riders and the Brooklyn Knights. He now wears the red-and-navy blue of the Long Island Academy.

"Cesar is a confident squad member. He knows his role and is very strong on the ball," commented Long Island Academy head coach Paul Riley. "He'll need to play more at this level to get the pace of the game."
